Happy International Women’s Day to the wonderful women of Broken Hill! The Astra welcomed an array of well dressed women bright and early this morning as it hosted a celebratory breakfast for International Women’s Day.
The beautifully adorned restaurant came alive with women’s stories being shared in between the guest speakers, as 2DryFM held a radio broadcast of the event in between playing songs.
The CWA (Country Women’s Association) were in attendance as they are each year as part of their fundraising efforts aimed at helping women across the far west.
