Terms and Conditions for “Morning Photo” Competition

General

1. Barrier Truth: Barrier Truth, 179 Blende Street ABN: 38 684 603 658
2. Entry Restrictions: Open only to Australian residents aged 18 and over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Barrier Truth, associated agencies, and participating outlets are ineligible to enter.
3. Competition Period: The competition commences at 12:01am ACDT on Monday, October 2, 2023, and concludes at 11:59pm ACDT on Friday, October 20, 2023.
4. Prize: The prize is breakfast at The Silly Goat Cafe for five days for one person with a maximum daily spend of $40.
5. Prize Availability: The prize is only available between Tuesday, October 24, 2023, and Saturday, October 28, 2023.

How to Enter

1. To enter, participants must send a photo of Broken Hill landmarks or landscapes to [email protected]  before 8.30am ACDT daily and agree to us sharing their photo on our social media.
2. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
3. Content Guidelines: Photos must be appropriate, original, and comply with all local laws and regulations.

Winner Selection

1. One winner will be selected at random and notified via email on Friday, October 20, 2023.
2. The Barrier Truth’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Prize Conditions

1. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
2. The winner must redeem the prize between the dates of Tuesday, October 24, 2023, and Saturday, October 28, 2023.
3. If the prize remains unclaimed by Monday, October 23, 2023, the Barrier Truth reserves the right to re-award the prize.
4. Prize Redemption: Winner must present valid identification to claim the prize.

Liability

1. The Barrier Truth is not responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Privacy

1. All entries become the property of the Barrier Truth. The Barrier Truth collects personal information about entrants to include entrants in the promotion and where appropriate, award prizes.
2. Data Handling: Personal information will be stored and handled in accordance with Australia’s privacy laws.

Governing Law

1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia and the State of NSW, and each entrant agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

Amendments

1. The Barrier Truth reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any amendments will be published on the Barrier Truth’s website.
