St Pats Race Day is right around the corner and, in a treat for locals, St Pats and the Silver City Cinema are running a cross promotion that sees anyone purchasing an item from the St Pats offices at 400A Argent Street, receive a free movie ticket to use at any Silver City Cinema session.
“St Pats just want to give a little bit back to the community and provide a movie pass in exchange for any purchase made from the front office,” St Pats admin manager Judi Hoare told the Barrier Truth.
“Whether it is a pen, a t-shirt, a ticket, a membership, a hat or a stubby holder, there will be one movie pass provided for the first 100 people.”
“The Musicians Club has always been very proud to sponsor the St Pats race committee and the St Pats race. We are always out there every year and involved as we can be,” said Logan Pascoe, Manager of the Silver City Cinema which is owned by the Musos Club.
“Now that we own the cinema it made sense that we would do what we can to support St Pats and get everyone excited, and if that gets a few people in to see a movie as well, then that’s great,”
The promotion begins this Monday and is limited to the first 100 people purchasing an item from the St Pats office.
