The South Broken Hill Golf Club had a rousing day of celebration on Tuesday for the Melbourne Cup.
Some 115 people had a ball as they ate, drank, and gambled their way through the ‘race that stops the nation’.
A bunch of awards were handed out for the best dressed guests on the day.
Best Dressed Lady was Mary Barrie.
Gail Vivan picked up the award for Best Hat. Belinda Barlow was awarded for having the Best Jewellery on the day, whilst Taita Daddow picked up the gong for Best Dressed Man.
“It was the best function we have had since before Covid,” Director of the South Broken Hill Golf Club, Chrissy Bettison, said.
