YWCA indoor Mother’s Day market on Sunday

Looking for that extra special something for mum this coming Mother’s Day – Sunday May 14? The Broken Hill YWCA (Young Women’s Christian Association) are holding their annual Mother’s Day Market this Sunday April 30 from 10am to 3pm at their hall on 349 Blende St.

With several local creatives under one roof there’s bound to be the perfect gift for mum so tell the kids to bring their pocket money along, as all budgets are catered for – some stalls will be cash only.

The Y Café will provide plenty of delicious homemade delights to either eat-in or take away.

There’s also a chance to win a Pamper Hamper in the raffle, and all funds raised from a gold coin entry donation will be used to support girls and young women in our community who are doing it tough, so head down to the YWCA Hall and help a good community cause.

The indoor event will host over 14 stalls but there’s room for a few more if you’re keen to sell your goodies.

YWCA volunteers will be at Westside Plaza on May 8 and 13 wrapping Mother’s Day purchases for donation only.
