The Far West Local Health District (FWLHD) is reminding the community that local emergency departments will be open 24 hours a day and emergency surgeries will continue to be performed over the Christmas and New Year period across the Broken Hill Health Service.
“Emergency departments will continue to operate around the clock for people with a serious injury or illness and those in need of urgent medical attention”, FWLHD Chief Executive Brad Astill said.
“I wish to thank all staff at all our facilities and services who continue to provide quality care for our patients and clients to ensure they have the best health outcomes.”
