Colour Run on for Ronald McDonald House

The Broken Hill Colour Run will take place this coming Sunday morning and is the final fundraiser ahead of the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Ride for Sick Kids.

RMHC is a national charity with strong roots in Broken Hill. On average two Broken Hill families use the Ronald McDonald House in Adelaide every night of the year while their children are receiving hospital treatment.

RMHC’s goal is to support the ever-changing needs of seriously ill children and their families. Ronald McDonald House is used by families who have to travel from afar to get the medical treatment their child needs. It provides essential care and support for families, only steps away from the hospital.

You can get involved in the Colour Run and help raise funds by arriving at Sturt Park on Chloride St from 9am on Sunday. It will cost $20 for an adult, $10 for under-13s, while under-fives can take part for free. There will also be a family pass at $50 for up to five family members.

This year’s ride will be Valley to Valley across picturesque regions of South Australia. The course begins in Adelaide then continues south along the coastline of Second Valley. Riders will then cycle to the Barossa Valley and head north to the Clare Valley before making the trip back to Adelaide by the end of the seven days.
