On Friday morning, as part of Broken Hill City Council’s Australia Day commemorations, 12 new Australians were presented with their citizenships.
Mayor Tom Kennedy told the Barrier Truth that “one of the greatest honours as Mayor is to be the person that presides over making citizens the new Australian citizens”.
