Businesses benefits with Bureau App

Small Business owners across the region are now able to explore changes and an upgrade to the Service NSW Business Bureau App.

The app is the latest version of Service NSW’s attempt to produce better interactions between businesses and the state government.

The app can be used to book advisors and events from the Business Connect program, or access independent advice in one-on-one sessions from the Aboriginal Business Advisory Initiative programs for free.

Tracking and saving licence information for businesses, contractors, and staff, as well as receiving real-time notifications relevant to your business, are other services which can be accessed through the app.

Business owners can also connect with the Business Concierge team for free, get personalised support through the app, and can also redeem vouchers, view payment summaries, share transaction reports, and manage their business locations, for businesses participating in programs.

In coming weeks, additional features such as real-time communication in the form of push notifications, informing business owners of relevant and personalised information to their business, and live chatting within the app, will be available.

While most businesses have used the app previously, most notably during the Covid pandemic to easily fulfill sign-in requirements and to access Covid-era vouchers, the idea is the updates will align the app with business owners’ expectations and requirements in today’s economy.

Erica Haskard, a Business Advisor for the Business Connect Program, told the Truth she believed the app is, “a valuable tool for local businesses, offering convenient access to support programs, license management, real-time notifications, and personalised assistance”.

“I see it as a positive step towards facilitating smoother interactions between businesses and the NSW Government,” she added.

Business owners who have not yet registered for the app, or who are looking for more information, can visit Service NSW Business Bureau app | Service NSW.
