In news that is sure to excite footy fans across the Silver City, 107.7 2DryFM will be broadcasting live commentary of the Toyota AFL Broken Hill Premiership season from round two.
Historically, only the AFLBH finals series has been broadcast on radio, but this year the minor rounds are set to get some live commentary as well thanks to the services of well-known locals Patrick Reincke and Joshua Mercer.
The pair are set to man the microphones for every second round of action, beginning with the West vs South match in round two.
“The game plan is we’ll commentate rounds two, four, six, eight, 10, 12, 14, and the preliminary and grand final,” Mr Reincke told the Barrier Truth.
So if you can’t make it to the games this season, be sure to tune in to 107.7 2DryFM each fortnight to hear the live action and of course keep up to speed with the Barrier Truth’s comprehensive written previews and match reports too.
