Thought about getting a last-minute ticket to attend this year’s Mundi Mundi Bash? Here’s your chance.
The upcoming music festival organisers have offered Broken Hill and Silverton residents special ‘local day’ tickets.
The exclusive arrangement will allow community members to grab a one-day pass to attend the event on Saturday, April 23.
Outback Music Festival Group’s Managing Director, Greg Donovan, said the final day would be a jam-packed day of fun.
“We have picked (April) 23 as it’s the closing day of the Mundi Mundi Bash and the biggest day of the festival – and it is a Saturday which will make it easier for many locals who are working to attend,” he said.
“Locals will be able to join us as we attempt the Mad Max dress-up attempt and the Nutbush Dance world record attempt – and they’ll also see some of Australia’s most iconic performers hit the stage.”
Ticket prices are $179 for adults, $29 for 12 to17-year-olds and children under 11 will have free entry.
Photo ID and proof of local residence will be required to exchange e-tickets for a festival wristband at the ticketing office.
Locals tickets can be picked up on April 22 from 9am-5pm, and April 23 from 9am-3pm.
“This is our small way of thanking the wonderful locals for their hospitality and support of the event.,” Mr Donovan said.
“We hope people will embrace the opportunity to come out and join us for a full day of entertainment in their own beautiful backyard.”
Saturday’s performances include some of the biggest names on the event bill, with Paul Kelly, John Williamson, Vika and Linda, Chocolate Starfish, Mi-Sex and Caitlyn Shadbolt all hitting the stage.
Day parking out at the ‘Mundiville’ event site will be available and located about 400 metres from the main concert area.
Local Day tickets do not include camping on-site – ticket holders will need to depart when the concert concludes.
