The award-winning Siren Theatre Co, in collaboration with Critical Stages Touring and West Darling Arts, will present The End of Winter at Theatre 44 on Thursday, October 12.
The solo play, performed by Jane Phegan and directed by Kate Gaul, delves into the author’s search for the cold weather she adores. Furthermore, it touches upon the urgent themes of climate change, posing the question, “what’s happening to winter?”, especially pertinent in a bushfire-prone nation where the season grows warmer and more abbreviated.
“It’s a privilege and pleasure to collaborate with esteemed colleagues and gifted artists. Jane has once more showcased her vast range of skills, and this haunting narrative stands as a testament to her bravery and craft,” expressed director Kate Gaul.
The End of Winter plays at Theatre 44 (189 Wills St) on Thursday, October 12 at 7pm. Tickets ($25 for adults, $15 for concession) are available via the QR code (https://events.humanitix.com/end-of-winter-play-at-theatre-44)
