The Deli set to close

The Deli Broken Hill closure

Popular Broken Hill café, The Deli, has announced its impending closure, citing staffing struggles as a key reason.

“Nathan and I have made the very difficult decision to close the doors of our beautiful business – The Deli. Our business has grown so fast. Too fast and at a time when local hospo (hospitality) recruiting has now become impossible,” reads the social media post from the owners.

The café will cease trading on Tuesday, 17th October 2023, but will maintain its usual opening hours until that date.

Situated in the Town Square, The Deli has gained a reputation for its extensive array of freshly made sandwiches, wraps, and salads. It also offers a variety of pastries, cakes, and other sweet delicacies. Beyond the food, the deli sells a range of gourmet products, such as artisanal cheeses, cured meats, and specialty condiments. And that’s without even mentioning the coffee.
