Stolen Isuzu D-Max found

A silver Isuzu D-Max ute stolen from a Broken Hill residence last Wednesday (July 26) has been found in Mildura where it was apparently used in break-ins.

Owner of the stolen vehicle, Nickala Salisbury, told the Truth this morning the Isuzu was found in Mildura yesterday.

When the vehicle was taken from outside her home on Blende St, Ms Salisbury’s dog attempted to raise the alarm by barking but the thieves took the vehicle and the owner didn’t discover the loss until later.

“Just wanted to let you know they found my car in Mildura,” said Ms Salisbury.

“It was being used for more break-ins and it was involved in a few police chases over the last couple of days.”

When asked whether the vehicle was damaged and if she was getting her vehicle back, Ms Salisbury said she’s still waiting to hear more details.
