South Ball kicked on

Over a hundred ballgoers had a great night partying to support the South Football Club at their Red and White Ball on Saturday night.

Leanne Bird passed the responsibility for organising the Ball to Stacy Burns, Sharnie Dolan and Katie Clisby this year.

Organiser Sharnie Dolan said it was a great turnout, especially as the Ball was held in the middle of the school holidays.

Band, Tha Boiz, played for the evening, and DJ Shae Neville played between sets.

Awards were presented early in the evening, and then ballgoers spent the rest of the night dancing.

The Most Elegant Lady Award went to Kily Sommerfield.

The Belle of the Ball Award went to Georgie Diamond.

The Beau of the Ball Award went to Riley Schorn.

The Most Distinguished Gentleman Award went to Wes Burns

The Best Dressed Award was presented to Bella Dolan.

Usually, the Ball is an annual event, but COVID-19 meant a two-year interval until this Ball.

Sharnie Dolan’s company, the Tee Pee, was responsible for the stunning decorations and the gift baskets presented with the awards.
