Service NSW mobile visit at Wilcannia Tuesday

Service NSW’s Mobile Support Centre will be visiting Wilcannia tomorrow – Tuesday – between 9am and 2pm, assisting residents to access Government support services and initiatives, as well as replacing lost or damaged documents free of charge.

The visit is to help residents access services which are more easily available in towns and cities but not always so easily accessed in our more regional areas.

Driver’s licences, proof of identity documents, Photo Card applications, Driver Knowledge Tests, Working With Children Checks, NDIS Worker Checks, birth, death and marriage certificates, Government rebate and savings, and Stay NSW and Parents NSW voucher applications – are just some of the areas to be covered.

Central Darling Shire Council General Manager, Greg Hill, said that the Council welcomed regular visits from the Service NSW Mobile Bus.

“Shire-wide residents do not have access to all the Government services, which are readily available in other bigger towns and cities,” Mr Hill said.

“Anything which improves access for our residents when it comes to essential services is certainly very welcome.”

Residents are encouraged to plan ahead for the visit and prepare their documents. You can find more information about the Mobile Support Centres on the Service NSW website at
