Remembrance Day – Lest We Forget

Today we remember yesterday’s heroes, while we acknowledge today’s service men and women for fighting to maintain the freedom we currently enjoy in the lucky country – Australia.

Broken Hill’s Returned and Services League (RSL) invite community members to join them to remember the brave men and women whose lives were lost or forever changed by participating in wars intended to protect all residents of Australia and Her allies.

This year’s Remembrance Day service will be held at 11am Saturday November 11, in front of The Bomber – Broken Hill’s cenotaph statue on the corner of Sulphide St at 234 Argent St, followed by a gathering at The Palace Hotel across the road from the cenotaph at 227 Argent St.
