Open Day for new NDIS support service centre

NDIS Locals caring for Locals new centre

Locals Caring About Locals is a locally owned and operated National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) support service in Broken Hill and they’re super excited about their Open Day next month when they’ll show the community through their new southside recreational space where they plan to expand services.

Jessica Ray is pleased to announce the Open Day where NDIS clients, providers and families are all welcome to go along to explore the activities and opportunities that will be available at the centre.

The new NDIS support service centre offers plenty of kitchen space and facilities for getting creative with food and beverages, 3D printing, gardening, an infinity table, a pool table, projectors, Tovertafel, a respite centre, day programs, and a variety of games and activities for care providers to explore with clients.

The Open Day event will run in three sessions for people to explore the new centre at Locals Union Rec Centre (former Union Club Hotel) at 93 Patton St on the corner of Bonanza St.

The February 5 Open Day sessions are from:

  • 9am to 11am
  • 12pm to 2pm (including pony rides!)
  • 3pm to 5pm

For catering purposes, bookings are essential for the lunchtime session.
