North Pole Confirms Santa Train for this Sunday

The Christmas period is officially upon us.

With just 39 days until the jolly fat man in the red suit visits kids across the globe, carols are being played in stores, kids are writing their letters to Santa and parents are out in force putting the finishing touches on their Christmas shopping – well, maybe not all of us are ahead with the shopping…

The big news is, Santa Claus is making a brief stop in Broken Hill this Sunday. It is a major coup for the Silver City as Mr Claus is taking time out of his busy schedule to appear at the annual Santa Train event in Queen Elizabeth Park.

Santa’s elves have confirmed he will arrive at 10.30am Sunday morning and may even bring some lollies for any children who might want to visit him, and he will be happy to pose for photos as well.

North Pole correspondent and Head Elf at Santas Workshop, Wunorse Openslae, confirmed his appearance to the Barrier Truth.

“Mr Claus is excited to make a pre-Christmas appearance in Broken Hill. The girls and boys in the area have overwhelmingly made it on the nice list this year.”
