Library’s top non-fiction titles for 2023

Broken Hill City Library has announced its most read adult non-fiction books during last year, so if you’re keen for a good holiday read and need some inspiration, it’s time to check them out.

After the festive season break, the library is once again back to business as usual at 249 Blende St from Monday to Thursday 10am to 6pm, Friday from 10am to 5pm, and Saturday from 10am to 1pm.

The most popular Adult Non-Fiction titles of 2023 at Broken Hill City Library are:

  1. Big Things Grow by Sarah Donnelly.
  2. Maker. Garden: 15 Step-By-Step Projects for Outdoor Living by Kerry Allen.
  3. The Light After the War by Anita Abriel.
  4. Spitfire Girl: My Life in the Sky by Jackie Moggridge.
  5. The betrayal of Anne Frank: a cold case investigation by Rosemary Sullivan.
  6. The Definitive Bucket List by Lee Atkinson.
  7. A True Story of the Great Escape: A Young Australian POW in the Most Audacious Breakout of WWII by Louise Williams.
  8. Roger Rogerson by Duncan McNab.
