Kids Pottery Classes at Desert Moon Creative Art Space

Pottery classes for kids began this past week at the new Desert Moon Creative Art Space in Broken Hill, with local teacher and founder of the business, Navina Honey, thrilled to have relocated from Newcastle to join our creative desert community.

“I’ve got big plans for this little space so I’m excited to be creating a new venture and getting to know the locals. Everyone has been so welcoming,” said Ms Honey.

We dropped in on the Monday afternoon Desert Moon class to see what the kids were working on – this week they’re painting the gnomes and mushrooms they made last week.

But don’t despair adults, because there are classes coming up for you too, starting with a two-hour Paint and Sip Workshop – with the option of wine and a cheese platter – on May 27, followed by a three-week evening Pottery Class for Beginners staring July 27.

For more information contact Navina on 0424 343 837 or email [email protected]. To book tickets for classes, go to: facebook.com/desertmooncreativeartspace
