A program to nurture and introduce the game of golf to kids will tee off tomorrow.

Broken Hill Golf and Country Club are excited to see as many youngsters attend to get a taste of the sport.

The Club’s Junior coordinator, Peter Jeffery, said it’s an opportunity for 5–18-year-olds to learn the basics and develop skills.

New equipment was recently purchased to help instructors guide participants.

Children will start off with smaller clubs and Velcro balls and targets before transitioning to firmer clubs.

The Program will start from 9:30am to 1pm and be held weekly until October. It will be run in a COVID-safe manner.
