Istanbul Lamps Return

The Love in Istanbul Turkish mosaic lamp-making workshops are set to return to Broken Hill next month. After a successful stint in April, this occasion offers an excellent chance for those who missed out earlier in the year to participate.

Love in Istanbul owners, Rose Balca and Erdal Ozkan, will conduct the workshop in the GUOOF Hall at 161 Blende Street. The workshop includes a wide array of lamp styles, and all necessary materials are provided for attendees.

During the workshop, participants will be served complimentary apple tea and Turkish delight. People of all ages and varying degrees of creative confidence are welcome. Attendees will gather around a long table adorned with colourful tiles and beads, using them to decorate Arabic-style lamps.

Based in Adelaide, Rose and Erdal have temporarily left their Love in Istanbul store to tour with their workshops. To secure your spot for the two-and-a-half-hour lamp-making session, you can book now for either October 14, starting at 10 a.m., or October 15 at 4:30 p.m.
