Stabbing case – bail denied

Kyle Henderson and Alina Henderson, both arrested last week in connection with the alleged stabbing of their brother Dwayne Henderson, appeared before a magistrate at Broken Hill court on Monday following their appearance before the deputy registrar on Friday.

Dwayne Henderson remains in an Adelaide hospital having lost a leg as a result of the alleged incident.

Ms Henderson, who is facing two counts, including intending to pervert the cause of justice, and hindering the investigation, had her application for bail denied again, this time by a magistrate and is scheduled to again appear in court on Tuesday, July 11.

Kyle Henderson, who is charged with cause grievous bodily harm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm (DV related), do, act, or make omission, intending to pervert the cause of justice, and hinder investigation serious indictable offences, chose not to apply for bail and was returned to custody to reappear on Tuesday August 15.
