This Friday, headspace Broken Hill is encouraging young people to Pause, Reflect, and Reconnect about mental health on headspace Day 2022.
headspace Day is a National Day of Support for the mental health and wellbeing of all young Australians.
Young people in Broken Hill have been doing it tough for the last few years.
The ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic along with study stress, financial stress and relationship stress have caused many to have feelings of isolation, a lack of motivation, and increased anxiety and depression.
This is where headspace Broken Hill can help. They provide young people with support for their mental health, as well as helping them achieve their work and study goals.
This headspace Day the organisation is running activities for young people, their families, and the broader community to raise awareness about youth mental health.
The activities will promote steps that help young people, and their loved ones focus on what gives them purpose and brings them joy.
By supporting headspace day, you encourage more young people to take charge of their mental health and wellbeing.
Go down to headspace Broken Hill at 231 Blende St on Friday between 11am and 3pm and see what headspace can do for you or your loved ones.
