Theatre 44 is set to entertain the community with drama and singing as part of its 2023 Fairytale Spectacular on Sunday, December 3.
Presented by Marilyn Harris with the Broken Hill Repertory Society, the performance will see the brightest up-and-coming stars take to the stage.
The Expression Glee Ensemble (made up of kids aged 8-17) will sing well-known songs from films such as Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, and Mary Poppins, while the Moxie Drama Group (made up of kids aged 8-15) will introduce each item before presenting a short Christmas play themselves.
“It’s all coming together. It’s going to be the best show we’ve done yet! Just the among of work the kids have put into it, it’s been really good”, Ms Harris told the Barrier Truth.
The Fairytale Spectacular takes place at Theatre 44 (189 Wills St) on Sunday, December 3. Doors open at 1.30pm for a 2pm show.
Tickets are priced at $12 for adults, $10 for concession, and $5 for schoolchildren and can only be purchased at the door. The canteen will also be open. All proceeds go directly back to Theatre 44.
