Warrnambool-based punk rock band Convict Class are on the road to Broken Hill, heading to play at Central Football Club at Memorial Oval tonight – Saturday – from 6pm. Three local bands will serve as the opening acts, with Scream Street, Led Affected and Jon Doe and the Moonlighters also performing on the night.
Ex-Broken Hill local, vocalist Shane Stenhouse, said the band had tried to keep the prices down as low as possible to entice more people to get behind the show and come along to have a great night.
“We really hope people get behind Saturday night as we would love to make it an annual event and bring some big-name Australian bands,” he said.
“The exposure we have had playing with some of Australia’s biggest bands has got them asking about the potential to play regionally.”
Doors open at 6pm for the Saturday March 4 gig at Central Football Club (Memorial Oval). Entry is $10, $15 for entry and to go into the mix for a merchandise pack, or $20 for entry and a CD. For more information, visit the Facebook event page at https://bit.ly/3KZlcUO
