Classifieds are an economical way to get your message out to our 3,500 subscribers twice per week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. 

Pricing info

Classified Liners are charged by word, starting at $25 for up to 25 words, then an extra $1 for each word after.

Deadlines

  • For the Wednesday edition: Deadline is Tuesday, 11:00AM
  • For the Saturday edition: Deadline is Friday, 11:00AM

Note: we allow for some leniency with the lodgement deadline for funeral, death, and lost notices. Contact us for details. This does not apply to general classified advertisements

  1. You can use abbreviations to lower the price. Ads without correct spacing will be declined. For Example: “1st Nov 2023” would be counted as 3 words, but “1/11/23” is counted as 1 word. “08 8087 2354” counts it at 3 words, but “08-8087-2354” would be counted as 1 word. “9 meters x 5 meters” would be counted as 5 words, where “9m x 5m” is counted as 3 words. “0427 068 951” is counted as 3 words, where “0427068951” would be counted as 1 word.
  2. Classified Liners are reviewed by staff before your card is debited. If your classified is ordered here that has no spacing between words, we will cancel the order. i.e.: “YouWillNotGetYourAdCheaperByDoingThisAndWeWillCatchYou.”
  1. New lines are treated as spaces, and classified ads which contain new lines will be printed with spaces instead of new lines.
  2. While the Barrier Truth staff proofread your classifieds; however, we cannot guarantee that they will be free of all typographical, grammatical, or factual errors.
  3. Customers selling a registered vehicle, trailer or caravan must declare the registration number, or VIN/Chassis Number, as it is requested by Law.
  4. Pets for Sale require the following information to be included: Status of Seller i.e., breeder, shelter, owner. Sellers Breeder registration Numbers and contact details. Animal type, age, size or expected size, Sex, microchip number, Desexed status, Vaccination status, Health status, and personality.

Payment is required before your classified can be placed in the paper. No payment, No Placement! (Verified Barrier Truth account holders will be invoiced as normal) Non-payment will impact any further Classifieds and Advertisement orders you place.
