CCTV images of wanted man

Broken Hill residents are asked to come forward with any information that can help solve an ongoing investigation.

Police have released CCTV images of man suspected to have key details of an assault that occurred in town last month.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 20’s, with tattoos on his neck. He is depicted wearing a blue shirt and blue baseball cap.

The incident occurred on February 27 outside a licenced premise on Argent Street in the early hours of that morning.

Officers attached to Barrier Police District attended and were told a 24-year-old man was assaulted by a man not known to him.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before he taken to Broken Hill Hospital in a stable condition.

An investigation was launched into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
