Call goes out for Pageant Princess

It’s time to dust off the Christmas decorations and Santa hats as Broken Hill prepares for the annual Christmas pageant.

The Quota club of Broken Hill has put the call out for all potential Princesses to nominate to be crowned Pageant Princess.

All local young ladies over the age of 15 are encouraged to apply to be this year’s Pageant Princess.

The fun begins at 6pm on Saturday December 3 this year, as the parade kicks off its journey from the corner of Oxide and Lane Streets.

Once again the Quota Club of Broken Hill will be entering a float in this year’s event, complete with the Pageant Princess.

This is an exciting venture for local club members and the six young fairies who ride with the Princess.

The Quota Club of Broken Hill, over the last few years has worked hard with South Rotary Club and Broken Hill City Council to feature a Pageant Princess.

It has proven to be a great success and the young ladies who have nominated and ultimately chosen to be the Pageant Princess have thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Co-ordinator, of the Pageant Princess and the float is Quota member Mrs Suzanne Day.

Entry forms are available from Newsworld in Oxide Street, and nominations close on Friday November 18, at 5.00pm.
