The NSW Business Connect team is hosting a free business workshop at the Broken Hill Civic Centre on Thursday from 6pm, aimed at small businesses and those wanting to start their own business or expand an already existing local business.
Business Connect is a dedicated and personalised NSW Government program, providing advice, events and resources to help you start, run, adapt, or grow your small business.
One-to-one business advisory sessions are complemented with a range of events and resources providing practical insights and business skills development.
Business Connect advisors are independent professionals. They have experience running their own business, qualifications in a business-related discipline, and advisory experience.
The Broken Hill workshop will cover important aspects of starting your own business, but won’t just be confined to regulatory and compliance tasks that are essential when looking at developing a new business.
Anthony Doyle, who has a passion for helping regional businesses and extensive experience in running businesses of all sizes, will be presenting the workshop to a limited number of 20 people.
Designed to help a small business hit the ground running, the workshop will teach the importance of having a vision and direction for your business.
The fundamentals of starting a new business including business registration, legal requirements, insurance, market research, business planning, and a great deal more, will be covered.
Due to the limited spaces available, bookings are essential.
