This weekend, the Broken Hill Veteran and Vintage Car Club are hosting their Bushman’s Rally with upwards of 70-plus cars taking part.

Saturday’s run will be to the Perilya Mine Museum and there will be a tour of the mine workings for members.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided, and the round trip will be about 15 kilometres in length.

The event will continue into the evening, with dinner held at the Musos Club at 6.30pm.

On Sunday, the rally will once again depart from Centro Plaza at 9.30am and run to Sulphide Street Railway and Historical Museum at 230 Blende St for morning tea.

They will then travel to Zinc Lakes on the Wentworth Road at 12pm for lunch and the Show and Shine display.

Members of the public are more than welcome to get along to the show and talk to local and interstate vintage car enthusiasts about their pride and joys.

There will be food and drinks for sale during the display.

On Sunday evening, the club hold their presentation dinner from 6.30pm at the Musos Club.
