At a packed Silver City Show Annual General (AGM) meeting on Monday evening held at the show society’s rooms at the Show Ground, Bruce McIntosh was re-elected as show president for another year.
Show treasurer Ali Baiton, also elected on the night, said it was the best roll up for a meeting in a very long time.
“This is not normally how meetings look, so hopefully they will stay like this for the rest of the year,” Ms Baiton said with a big smile.
Mr McIntosh said it was the best AGM in a very long time and added the committee would be working hard to make this year’s show even more successful than the 2022 show, which he said was one of the best in many years.
September 14, 15 and 16 are the dates set aside for this year’s show.
Other office holders elected at the AGM were vice president Jamie McIntosh, Alex Heitman as secretary with Jodie Whitehead as vice secretary, and they will be joined by purchasing officer Pat Borlace.
