Broken Hill Tennis Serves Up Alternative

The Broken Hill Tennis Association [BHTA] plays on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights, the club catering to all ages and skill levels.

Currently in their spring season, everyone at the club is gearing up for the open championships at the end of the month. They run over a week, with both doubles and singles tournaments happening across several grades.

Junior Vice President of the BHTA, Patrick Reincke, loves tennis and is keen to see the player numbers grow as we head into summer.

“If you’re new to the sport or picking up the racket for the first time in five years, come down on a Wednesday night and play some doubles. It’s a wide variety of skill levels that we accept,” Mr. Reincke says.

So, whether you’re an emerging Roger Federer, or someone who is picking up the racket for the first time, the BHTA is for you.

“Tennis is here, we have great facilities, there’s a great social aspect to it. It’s a great sport, great for your hand-eye coordination, great for your agility, and cardiovascular fitness. There really is a range of benefits to playing tennis,” Mr. Reincke said.

Whether your interest is fleeting, or you are dead serious about tennis and what to have a hit, give Patrick a call at 0438472410 and join the Broken Hill Tennis Association.
