With trial games completed, the new Broken Hill Soccer Association season is right around the corner. With fixtures yet to be confirmed (we will have those in Saturday’s paper), there has been a shout out from the BHSA for referees.

Referees are not volunteers and are paid for their time, so it is the perfect way to earn a little side money. Referee shirts are supplied, along with socks and card for you to wield at unruly players at your whim – within the laws of the game, of course – and of course you get a whistle too.
