NAIDOC 2023 Unveiled

The Broken Hill community has two exciting events to look forward to. Both the NAIDOC Ball and the NAIDOC Family Fun Day have been announced, and tickets and details are now available for these annual celebrations.

Firstly, get ready to don your finest attire for the 2023 NAIDOC Ball, set to take place on Saturday, October 7. The event will be held at the Musicians Club, located at 276 Crystal St, and will run from 5:30 pm until midnight. Tickets for attendees over 18 years of age can be purchased, cash-only, for $70 ($60 concession) from the Maari Ma Regional Office at 2 Oxide St.

On the other hand, if you’re looking for family-oriented activities, the NAIDOC Family Fun Day should be right up your alley. Scheduled for Thursday, October 5, the Family Fun Day will be held at Sturt Park. The festivities will begin at 10 am and continue until 2 pm, offering a day of free family entertainment, food, drinks, and fun activities.
