The Broken Hill Potter’s Society are getting ready for their annual Mother’s Day Fair this weekend.
The hall doors at 407 Wyman St will open at 8am to 4pm on Saturday May 6, and 9am to 3pm on Sunday May 7.
Locally made craft, pottery, quilts, baked goods, jams, plus barbeque sausages and egg and bacon rolls will be available along with tea and coffee.
The Potters Place hall has long been a creative haven for the Potter’s Society, but it’s in dire need of a few repairs so all funds raised will go towards building maintenance.
Although there’s a waitlist for the evening classes, there are spaces available for daytime classes if you’d like to try your hand at pottery.
