Help shape arts and culture policy

The state government is encouraging Broken Hill residents who have an interest in arts, culture, and creative industries to attend a Town Hall meeting at 12pm tomorrow – Tuesday – at The Palace Hotel to help shape new policies targeted towards the arts and culture sector.

The purpose of the event is to help the state government work towards development of the state’s first-ever Arts, Culture and Creative Industries Policy. It comes after a discussion paper – A New Look At Culture – was released to guide conversations that will inform the development of the policy.

Minister for the Arts, John Graham, will be there, as if you attend you’ll be able to join in the discussion with industry experts and the Create NSW team, with an opportunity to ask questions and contribute to the shaping of the new policy.

Registrations are essential to assist with event organisation and catering and can be done via https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/a-new-look-at-culture-town-hall-forum-broken-hill-tickets-672855678447?aff=oddtdtcreator.
