Black and White Ball returns

Black and White Ball 2019.

Central Broken Hill Football Club are preparing to host a big night of fun and fashion this Saturday.

The Black and White Ball returns after it was forced to be called off last year due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Organising Committee member, Jordan Gilby, said this is one of the most anticipated events in the club’s calendar.

“It’s one of those events that people look forward to,” he said. “This year we want to come back with a bang.”

The annual Ball provides the opportunity for players, staff, supporters and their family and friends to gather and socialise.

This year’s event is expected to sell out and could see up to 200 people fill the Memorial Oval venue.

“It’s a night to dress up and people can let their hair down,” Mr Gilby said. “It’s off the field where a lot of the bonding happens.

“It’s good to mingle with people’s families and get to know others in their lives.”

There will be live entertainment and an auction on the night.

The committee has been working hard behind the scenes to finalise preparations and are eager to guests enjoy the occasion.

“Once everything comes together and everyone has a good time, it’s well worth it,” Mr Gilby said.

Tickets are $70 and can only be purchased online and will be required to be shown on arrival.
