Feeling a little arty lately? Would you like to make a beautiful wooden serving board and wine glass coaster for someone special … like yourself?
If so, adults are invited to join Mel from Pine-apple Creations this weekend at the PCYC for a resin art workshop for beginners. This fun, sticky and informative workshop is suitable for ages 18 and over and is not recommended for pregnant women.
Wearing latex gloves and aprons, make sure you wear something from the back of your wardrobe that you don’t mind getting grubby, and have your hair pulled back with glasses already on (if you wear them) as your hands will be busy in resin.
You’ll be creating an ocean scape or funky design on a wooden serving board approximately 30cm x 30cm, a drink coaster, and a bonus item using vibrant colours, so at the end of the two-and-a-half-hour workshop, you’ll have learnt how to safely create basic designs using low fume biodegradable resin.
With four session times available, choose a time that suits you and book in before spaces fill.
On Saturday September 9 you can join the 10am to 12.30pm session or the 3pm to 5.30pm session, or if you prefer a Sunday workshop, head to the September 10 sessions being held during the same time slots – 10am or 3pm – at PCYC on 58 Gypsum St, with your dry work of art ready for pick up between 9am to 3pm the following day.
