Pharmacy student scholarship applications open

Symbion and Pharmacy Guild of Australia scholarships under their Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) pharmacy students’ initiative are open until July 16.

Designed to strengthen the ATSI workforce through education and career support, the program aims to provide culturally appropriate pharmacy services for ATSI patients and customers.

Under the program, four pharmacy student scholarship recipients will each receive a one off annual payment of $10,000 and be eligible for conference registration fees, travel, and accommodation to a pharmacy conference for one year.

The initiative also provides two pharmacy assistant scholarships of $5000 annually and payment of conference registration fees, travel, and accommodation to the Pharmacy Assistant Conference for one year, with each program participant being matched with a mentor.
