Racegoers at St Pat’s meeting today have the chance to win a cash prize if they have the golden ticket.

The wait is over for the big event and is an extra colour of green this year with Vines Furniture One leprechauns the face of the day.

The leprechauns will greet locals and visitors from all over Australia at the front gate and offer a chance to participate in a sweepstakes.

Dru Vines from Vines Furniture One said the business is glad to sponsor the sweep this year.

“It’s a great initiative and something we are very happy to be involved with,” he said.

“The races are huge for Broken Hill and such a boost to the local community.

“This is also part of our sponsorship of the race meeting and it is all about giving back.”

The golden ticket holder on the Outback Cup will take home $1000 in addition to our overall fun experience.

Tickets for the sweep will be on sale in the main betting ring from 11:30am.
