Last month, organisers of the Broken Hill Racecourse Parkrun held their 144th 5km weekly community event, attracting 38 people including six first timers with two recording their new personal best times and a few participants walking dogs and pushing prams for the weekly family friendly event.
Broken Hill Racecourse parkrun started in July 2019 and according to last month’s tally, 1246 participants have completed 5144 park runs covering a total distance of 25,720 km, including 677 new Personal Bests, with a total of 175 individuals volunteering their time to put on 1393 events.
